Why Kerala

We make our spice blends in Kerala, India — the heart of the ancient spice trade.

A crossroads of regions, traditions, and cultures.

Centuries ago, traders crossed oceans just to reach here.

Kerala is the home of black pepper, cardamom, and the Original Spice Route — a coast where Arab, Chinese, Roman, and Portuguese ships once met. Grounded in Ayurveda, Kerala's tradition treats food as medicine.

Our blends carry that legacy forward, crafted for today's kitchen, rooted in thousands of years of culinary wisdom.

Nammude means "ours" in Malayalam — the language of Kerala. This brand started with a simple wish: to make the food we grew up with accessible to every kitchen.

We're a team of family and friends with Kerala roots, passionate about preserving an ancient culinary tradition. Our debut blend is just the beginning, and a whole Kerala pantry is on the way.

nammude (nah-moo-deh) — Malayalam for "ours." Because great food belongs to everyone.
